- The library maintains a strong collection in the areas
of adult, young adult and child fiction and non-fiction; paperbacks,
audios, newspapers, and magazines.
- A reference collection is also maintained.
- Spanish materials are available, including magazines,
novels, children and adult books.
- Materials not owned by the Tolleson Public Library may
be borrowed from other libraries through Inter-library Loan.
- There is no charge for requesting a book in this manner
- Donated books and magazines, which cannot be used for
the library collection may be purchased at a nominal price

- The computerized catalog aids in locating materials by
author, title, and subject
- Bibliographic blurbs and material location are provided
- For research, the Internet and Info-Trac (a CD
accessible collection of current newspaper and magazine articles) are
available
- Patrons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a
parent or have a consent form signed to access the Internet.

- Summer Reading Program offered in the month of June
- Reading program includes crafts, presentations,
book-related activities, and fieldtrips.
- Registration usually starts on the first Monday in May.
- Student groups visit throughout the school year
accompanied by their teachers as part of their elementary or high school
curriculum.

- We have Resume Maker and One Stop programs that help
with resume creation and on-line employment
- We earnestly desire someone from the community to come
forward to lead a preschool Story Time

- Photocopying; charge of ten cents per copy
- Faxing; charge of fifty cents per page
- Locally, and one dollar per page for long distance
transmission.
- Federal and State Income Tax forms are supplied during
tax season
